Heatwaves and how you can help

Did you know that Heatwaves actually kill more people than any other natural disaster? It is predicted that Melbourne will continue to get hotter and experience more heatwave conditions. Some population groups such as the elderly, babies and people with chronic are particularly vulnerable to extreme heat.
You can help people during hot weather by encouraging them to utilise your waiting area (or other relevant area of your business) as a place to cool down and by offering them a glass of water.

Free Advisory Service Continues in 2010

Boost Your Business", Councils FREE small business advisory service will be available throughout 2010 to assist local businesses with business planning, financial management, marketing and more! For Banyule Businesses sessions are held on the first Wednesday of the month with bookings being taken for Wednesday 3rd February.
